Stones can't burn, or can they? During 2005 and 2006 Studio Mango developed a ceramic material which can saturate itself with liquid burning fuels. In the images a test model is shown but it enables designs with enormous burning surfaces; square, round, long, spirals, everything goes. It can be CNC machined in any shape, even a burning Jesus Christ figure is possible. The entry is the material, the capabilities can stretch as far as the imagination.
