bump up by ivan milanovic from italy
designer's own words:
Bump-up is a radiator that tells you when it's hot. It's made up of an aluminium plate parted in square modules. When Bump-up gets hot some modules come out from the surface. This movement is due to the presence of some parts made of shape mamory alloy. When the temperature changes these parts stretch pushing out some of the square modules. It gives a lot of possibility to designer to explore the movig forms and differnet positions of the same object.
