Brush Strokes by tatu vuorio from finland
designer's own words:
Inspiration for the process came from insight when I noticed that brush stroke reminds door handles optimal shape. Idea formed interesting reference to the shape of the door to operate like painting canvas as empty surface and the door handle as simple and minimalist galligraphic brush stroke.
The most important of all, however, is the door handles functionality and essence as a object, which is intended exclusively for the touch. I believe that rough surface that reminds brush stroke operates primarily as a habtic experience that affects the user.
Same handle works for both sides, material: Cast iron
