this design proposal is initiated with an intention to introduce a form of nature into modern door handle which mostly designed with basic geometry.
as an element in nature, tree branches share a characteristic of linearity with door handle bar and provide formal analogies to design process that aims to create a reminiscence of nature.
rather than looking into infinitely diverse form of tree branches as analogies to achieve a specific form of door handle, an interpretational sketch drawing is developed by observing the branches. the free-hands lines of the drawing depicts formal characteristics of tree branches while integrate fundamental mechanism and usage of the door handle into the drawing and it is finally transformed into the unique form of door handle.
