bob b

bob b by antonio gardoni from italy

designer's own words:

bob-b
a door handle with a strong look, a strange combination of a functional-mechanical reference with a decorative pop language: a contemporary baroque tool.
the handle is designed thinking of a screwdriver, the new shape is more simple and archetypal and reminds the classic old style handles for its proportions and parts (a curvy and bold handle linked to the door’s fixing with a slimmer connection)
the reference to the screwdriver’s handle it’s easy to recognize but the perception change radically with the use of brass and the possible finishes.
the fixing cylinder is designed as small as possible to contain a standard slotted spindle and the connecting bended part between the handle and the mechanism can be made in a contrasting material to underline the different components for both technical and esthetical reasons.

materials and finishes combinations
