Barbatana handle

Barbatana handle by joão pedro almeida from portugal

designer's own words:

the barbatana is a door handle that was not only thought for it's design shape. it is extremely elegant, contemporary, almost in a futuristic way. but that's not all there is to it.
it's not a different system mechanism that was invented here, because the conventional non hi-tech door handle is already a perfect one, in my opinion.
this door handle, full of flowing surfaces, it's just another grip and feel for your hand, and another polished look your your sophisticated eyes. it is made of brass (ottone).
size is sensibly 14 cms long, 5 cms tall, and 2 cms wide(on the piece that connects to the rose plate), complying to the standards of colombo design, making production requiring less investment . also the rose is the same circular one used in other colombo door handles.
