Autre is an interactive art piece referencing the Light and Space movement. Research on visual anticipation and asking the question 'what do people anticipate?' was executed to define that people anticipate change, this being made possible through movement, light, sound, space and time. Focusing on these aspects to generate an object that applies these principles of change.

Materiality:
resin+fiber glass external shell, unidirectional microphone for sound detection, led light strips in a radial axis for illumination, translucent plastic internal shell. A space betweeen both shells is provided in order to include both the microphone, the motherboard and led lights.

Technological quality: microphone sensitivity pressure detection and interpretation.

Aesthetic quality: intensity of sound will generate sensitivity for light, thus when a noise is perceived by Autre the central color will diminish and change colr based on the scale of intensity level (craze being the highest and no perceivable sound being the lowest).
