Aura is a speaker with a vibrating cone to generate sound waves made up of a big semi-transparent condensed air sheet.

A generator located in the speaker base collects sorrounding air, then extract the humidity and pressurizes it (what increases density) and finally ejects it on a conical baffle that distributes it in a conical-thin sheet shape. The air cone is dense enough to push sorrounding air, so moving the conical baffle in a vibrating way ,the air cone pushes the sorrounding air generating sound waves.
A similar solution is succesfully applied currently to project images on a air courtain.

By this way, it´s possible to create a huge almost invisible cone and adjust the size changing the air pressure. Several speakers with different cone sizes can be get together.

In addition, the speaker includes a volume control that takes advantage of the particles density to iluminate air cone gradually by means of a leds ring, that works only when the control knob is been used.
