The Architecture of Light by Diener/Lauppe from germany
designer's own words:
The fascination for the diverse chromaticity of light became the starting point of this project. The basis herefore were the three primary colours red, green, and blue, as well as their combinations. The mixture of lights was supposed to follow an analogue principle of mixing colors, in order to grant the user a new perception of light.
In the course of some practical test, the phenomenon of colored shadow came into focus.
By raying a room with three lamps, the shadows of the furniture connect with the architecture and hereby create a new architecture.
The architecture of lights has a uniting effect. The furniture is now seemingly inseparable connected to the room.
