Fascinated by the variety of Hirosaki apple species, colours and tastes, Apple Table is the final touch-up in completing the feast.

Taking references from Yatai, the Japanese mobile food cart which serves ramen or barbecue skews, and traditional ways of savouring food, Apple Table is a custom designed mobile cooking cart specifically for apples.

Derived from the logistics of preparation of a freshly picked apple, beginning from cleansing, peeling, slicing, chopping to grinding, the guests are invited to savour the renowned Hirosaki apples in every way available, e.g. raw apple, apple slice, apple salad, apple juice etc.

The Apple Table is able to be transported to anywhere around the city for various events and scenarios. Either be served by an ‘Apple Chef’ or used as a self-serving unit allowing visitors to ‘cook’ their own dishes, extending their experiences of the Hirosaki’s apple.
