The inspiration for this club chair was drawn from its users, and life cycle.
As life begins from a single cell, through series of devisions identities are born; each one with a unique and distinctive soul and persona. In a similar way Anima is created from a single unit, a square (33"/33"/3.5"), and through a series of multiplications in surface and structure it takes on its own identity. A different composition could have created a different chair but then it would be Anima.
Adding stripes of plywood as a surface creates a surprising pattern which contributes to the distictive characteristic of the chair as well as to its sustainable attributes.
