An (C)ode to Shibori puts a twist on the traditional Japanese tie-dying technique by making a program (body of code) work with the same constraints as the analog approach (COLOR, NUMBER OF SPOKES, SIZE, LOCATION). This is meant to be a play with craft and technology. It seemed appropriate to use this custom tool to then make Kimono textiles since once exported as .pdf files the patterns can be printed onto any fabric.
