airy door handle by tim wieland from germany

this door handle was a 5th semester project in my studies of industrial design at the university of wuppertal. after sketching and experimenting with different materials and shapes, the main design was done via cad. my goal was to find a form that is airy and not too common. it should have a smooth surface and enough volume to grasp. the handle would be made of cast aluminum.
