The cart is treated as an object that can transition between the different functions of relocation, shelter and mobility. The cart can also be deployed as a community system. Different types of connections allow for endless community types to be generated. This type of system encourages the homeless to support each other by providing safety and sharing resources. With the implementation of a homeless community, a greater social impact can be realized through increased visibility in the public eye. This notion is further accented via the iconic house form of the cart. In essence, a “mini” homeless suburb can be realized.
