2015 will be a time when fresh food is a rare gift from Mother Nature. Fresh food will be unfortunately replaced by dehydrated or frozen food and veggies.
"a fresh pot" brings the freshness back by reliving the familiar experience of planting the seeds, watering them, waiting and finally seeing the fresh sprout.

close the lid and wait. alternatively, use the pot in microwave or oven to cook.
