7978 is the total number of standard batteries (AA) used to make the bases of each furniture.
the material used, obtained by batteries recycling, is called ferromanganese.
It’s a cheap material which is casted to make the bases of a lamp, a desk lamp and a coat rack.
The impressive weight of the ferromanganese is the property we based our work on.

The other material used on this project is wood (pine) which is an organic material ; +7978- is a project made with a recycled and an organic material.
