4th Grade is a stoneware product that can be used for dinner plate as well as a serving plate.
The product has an interesting story: When I was in the fourth grade, long before I bacame a designer, I was given the assignment in woodshop class to make a bowl. Everybody else made a lathed bowl, but for some reason I decided to carve my bowl by hand. I really liked how it turned out.
A couple of years ago I found it in a box at my parents house. I was surprised and thrilled that I still liked the shape almost 20 years later and decided to make an updated design using stoneware this time.
