4rings

4rings by giorgio comoglio from italy

designer's own words:

four removable elements are placed in between the handle, in order to customize the handle’s look in relation with the door or the surrounding enviroment.
these elements could generate subtle variations to differenziate the handles' identity in different contexts. furthermore the four rings confer a tactile sensation when the handle is hold, and improve the general grip on the object.
the base material is brass or cromall®, with chrome as surface finishing.
the fair geometric conception of the handle promotes phisical and mechanic resistance, to guarantee a high performance against decay.
customization is the key point. for istance, round rose and escutcheon could be separated elements or be connected in a single cover element, both the rings and the joints between them could be differentiate accorting to design choice. in this way a single piece of design could generate an entire series of varied handles that are technically the same product.
