designer's own words:

2cuts is a door handle made in satinized or polished metal.
the design process begun from the very raw l shape of a door handle: we tried to make it evolve into a more comfortable and ergonomic shape with the lesser design intervention possible.
terseness and simplicity were the two main key factor of this design. having this in mind, we reminded of ancient paleolithic era manufacturing technique called lithic reduction: from a raw river stone, working or hunting tools were made only by simple and clear hits that removed the useless portion of the stone. that way, only with two sharp formal cuts we removed the useless portions from the door handle in order to gain functional and ergonomic areas for the thunb and the hand palm.
