british luxury shoe and accessories designer, charlotte olympia, has collaborated with zaha hadid design on two limited edition pieces: a platform wedge shoe and clutch bag. the distinct pieces serve as a tribute to zaha hadid, formed in perspex with rose gold metal accents to combine the unmistakeable design language of the late architect. the meticulously crafted pieces are priced at £1,600 for the shoes and £2,600 for the clutch bag. special packaging was also created to echo the sculptural qualities of the designs

the collaboration between the british luxury shoe brand and architect began in 2015, when zaha and charlotte first met and agreed to collaborate on a collection. the design team has since meticulously realized each piece as zaha originally envisioned. ‘zaha hadid was a phenomenal person to have known and her work and aesthetic are constant sources of inspiration for me’, says charlotte olympia dellal, founder and creative director of the fashion brand. ‘it was an honor and privilege to have worked with her and to continue working with her fantastic team on this dream collaboration.’
