imm cologne: celebrating 20 years of collaboration, walter knoll and EOOS present the ‘tama living’ sofa and ‘oki’ table at the imm cologne 2017. the ‘tama living’ sofa, said to be as spacious as it is elegant, seems to float on delicate solid wood blades. on top of the upholstery, soft cushions are spread out lavishly to offer even more comfort. defined by symmetry, lines, and surfaces, it features gaps in the backrest to reduce its overall presence and make it seem more open. furthermore, side tables with saddle leather are nested up by its side, and a solid wood tray with a leather top acts as a table and divider between sofa sections.

walter knoll and the austrian design studio EOOS has teamed up again to create the ‘oki’ tables, which are also on display at imm cologne 2017. in natural stone – marble and rare onyx marble – the tables form sculptural, powerful, and everlasting shapes of beauty and authenticity. the large slabs appear to hover above a delicate framework, and display organic markings that flow like abstract paintings of white strands. due to this natural quality, each table is unique and completely genuine.
