louis vuitton opens pop-up store in miami to celebrate virgil abloh's debut men's collection

last week, louis vuitton installed a 12-story art work along new york’s fifth avenue. the figure — referred to as ‘the new louis vuitton man’ is part of an ongoing conceptual retail experience, which serves as a reference for the french fashion house’s spring summer 2019 collection. now, another technicolor portrait of the individual has appeared as part of a new pop-up store in miami that celebrates the debut collection from LV’s men’s artistic director — virgil abloh.

from now until february 10th, 2019, louis vuitton invites visitors to discover the new men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods through a distinctly prismatic lens inspired by the 1939 cinematic musical ‘the wizard of oz’. located in the miami design district, the exclusively designed conceptual space is open daily. take a look around the store and see items from virgil abloh’s first louis vuitton collection below.
