adidas concept store by kasina opens in hongdae, seoul

located in hongdae, seoul, DAS107 is an iconic adidas concept store by kasina and completed in collaboration with design studio URBANTAINER. the store showcases top-of-the-line products such as adidas consortium limited items, alongside other selected pieces.

for this collaborative project with adidas, URBANTAINER and street culture specialist kasina have selected korea’s most premium products and created a community space for sneaker nerds where they can experience the deep histories and designs of the brand. in other words, its mission is to provide a comfortable atmosphere for street culture enthusiasts and an influence for trend-oriented customers at the same time. materials like ascon for flooring and custom-made zinc furniture evoke the street scene, providing a distinctive sense of being in this particular urban landscape — even if visitors spend their time indoors.

contrary to regular retail shops, the space is conceptualised as a symbolic experience of the sneaker culture
