triangle-wheeled bike become a reality!

Following the triumph of his previous bike designs, including the split rear wheel, the square-wheeled bike, and the airless bike tires, engineer and content creator Sergii Gordieiev has embarked on a fresh creative endeavor to develop a bike with triangular wheels. Indeed, his efforts paid off, with the unorthodox triangular-shaped wheels able to roll smoothly, resembling traditional round ones. The triangle-wheeled bicycle is operated in a similar manner to any other bike, with the rider pedaling and maintaining balance on the wheels.

In his new video tutorial that he uploaded on his Youtube channel, The Q, Sergii guides his followers on how to make a bike with triangle-shaped wheels using his own designs. Though this concept may initially appear improbable or potentially uncomfortable to ride, The Q has defied all expectations.‘Triangle wheels can be comfortable,’ he explained, confident in his achievement. With a suspension system designed for ultimate comfort, any wheel shape can transcend expectations and ride as smoothly as the classics.

HOW TO MAKE a functional bike out of triangle wheels

Sergii Gordieiev is an innovative individual who finds joy in creating eccentric yet functional inventions, primarily focused on bicycles. Through a clever combination of subtle curvatures on each side of the triangular wheels and the implementation of articulating arms with built-in limiters, The Q (see more here) has created a bike that can be ridden with minimal vertical movements.

The Q engineered a set of arms and rollers for each wheel, enabling their centers to move in a linear fashion. This design resulted in the formation of parallel lines between each roller and the flat ground surface. These triangular wheels have successfully overcome the limitations of their shape and are now capable of rolling. Moreover, the bike appears well-suited for traversing uneven terrains, showcasing its potential for adept maneuverability. With Sergii’s inventive mind, who knows what exciting innovations await in the future!
