the good design award is japan’s only comprehensive design evaluation and commendation system that originated from the good design selection system in 1957. countries from around the world have participated in the award selecting objects or conceptual embodiments with excellent design. the scope of the award is now beginning to play a dynamic role in getting us to think about basic matters in our daily lives and how industry can undergo continuous development.
