present at the 2015 stockholm furniture fair, the ‘chester’ armchair by swedish architect thomas sandell and industrial designer pierre sindre, envisions a modern transformation of the traditional, leather armchair for the furniture company källemo. the product enhances a minimal yet regime-structured powder coated steel frame to support the comfortable coldfoam seat, and also the formfelt shell. as well as reflecting the recognizable pattern, the ‘chester’ continues to echo the classic armchair’s conventional form by sculpting the continuous, curved arm-rests.
