the ultimate gaming bed is good enough reason not to leave the house

japanese company bauhutte has a created the ultimate gaming bed concept with a setup so good there’s no reason to leave the house. the concept caters to those basement-dwellers whose gaming throne doesn’t cut it, letting them hook up and install their console or PC plus a pair of monitors on the desk at the end of the bed.

first noticed by christopher livingston at PC gamer, the concept combines an elevated headboard, desk, snack shelves, tablet holder, and a bed. there’s even a snack cart with built-in cup holders and a cushion a large cushion for extra comfort.

gaming chairs have grown in popularity in recent years, with built-in speakers and extra screens and more. take acer’s predator thronos air concept for example air gaming chair, a $13,999 device that has everything, including a massage function.

the gaming bed accessories cost about ¥113,250, which equates to around $1,048, not including the cost of the bed, the double monitors and your console of choice. bauhutte also offers a ‘gaming theatre’ that lets you project your game onto your living room wall while lying on a cushy floor mat.

‘I wake up and move from my bed to my desk,’ its description reads. ‘why is that so complicated? gaming beds solve this problem.’ the only thing that’s missing is a solution for bathroom breaks.
