created by oslo-based designer thomas jenkins of studio jenk, ‘coiled’ folding café chair combines modern manufacturing techniques with traditional spring-based design methods. the joint of the folding chair is a spiral spring, made possible by CNC bending methods, that provides for extremely tight folding and efficient storage.

‘coiled’ was on exhibition at ‘greenhouse’ during stockholm furniture fair 2012.
