Realized by designer JK for watchmakers The Trio of Time, this timepiece channels the symbolism of the spinning beach ball and notions of fleeting moments of transition and hope. The watch’s bearing showcases a mesmerizing pattern reminiscent of the ball’s familiar whirl, featuring a spectrum of vibrant hues animated in dynamic motion once shaken. Each swirl kindles a sense of anticipation for the future, urging wearers to embrace the present while gazing towards the possibilities that lie ahead.

the trio of time brings the watch’s dial to life

The mechanism of a spinning screen behind the dial leads to an engaging and visually captivating experience for the wearer. When shaken, the bearing springs to life, mirroring the mesmerizing image of a beach ball in motion and the familiar loading symbol. The spheres that compose the bearing engage in a smooth, fluid rotation, conjuring a hypnotic visual effect that infuses the timepiece with a distinctive identity. ‘This timepiece is a tribute to the moments of waiting that shape our lives. The Trio of Time is ANICORN Watches’ experimental world tour which seeks to explore how international creativity can reinterpret the perception of time in various ways. The design team collaborates with a local designer in different cities around the world to create a distinct timepiece that encapsulates the designer’s view on the passage of time. The Spinning Beach Ball is the result of a collaboration with designer JK in Hong Kong.
