designer song-seungyong, in collaboration with artisan lee-jong oh, has updated the traditional korean brassware called ‘yugi’. the products capture the spirit and breath of their ancestors through the application of the inherited process. ‘yugi’ is a brass made through alloying on a ratio of tin (22%) and copper (78%) whose value has been recognized for its sterilizing, heating and cooling functions.

the result of the collaboration is a cutlery collection called ‘la lune’ for seoulbund. the designer song seung-yong actively applied the brassware production method and oriental designs into the products. two different sets are available; on western including a tablespoon, fork, knife, and teaspoon; and an oriental set including chopsticks.
