designed in collaboration with BMW designworksUSA, singapore airlines have presented their newest first class cabin layout. the entire ambiance has been re-designed to offer passengers raised luxury levels with greater privacy and increased stowage and luggage space. from the moment one boards the aircraft, first class guests are welcomed to lounge-like islands. in order to shield the area, both visually and acoustically, the outer walls of the seating zone have been extended to embrace the passenger like a protective arm. the seats have been lined with fine leather using a new upholstery technique that increases tension within the material, remaining smooth throughout the duration of the flight.
