simon hasan collaborates with linley on graft furniture collection

simon hasan is known for his exploration into material and production processes as evidenced in the development of his unconventional designs. his collaboration with linley sees the british creative overturning the traditional methods of cabinet-making, where he embraces the natural imperfections of the wood that he employs, in combination with metal (steel and brass) and eucalyptus which he incorporates into the furniture pieces through the technique of marquetry. the result is a collection of tables and stools which are debuting during london design festival 2013.
