saint laurent releases SX-70 with polaroid originals for colette

last night saint laurent released a line of more than desirable products on the paris-based concept store website, colette. from lighters to skateboards, items emblazoned with the fashion house’s logo made quick additions to designboom’s reportage on fashion phenomenons in a capsule collection on sale till december 20th. but perhaps the most exciting release was their collaboration with polaroid originals, in their branding of the iconic SX-70 instant camera.

the vintage model known for its metal construction, and folding into a compact form for easy storage, will feature a black leather strap stamped with the saint laurent logo in the re-edition. the camera has even been restored in its rare black and silver colorway. the collection teases the brand’s imminent take over of colette‘s first floor, following the likes of chanel.
