‘folio’, designed by ronan and erwan bouroullec for established and sons

‘folio’, created by by french designers ronan and erwan bouroullec for established and sons, seeks an innovative solution that combines shelving and cabinetry in a flexible-use piece. designed in differently configured units, ‘folio’ is composed of oak, with two sheaths of fabric suspended from an aluminum rack on the underside of the top shelf. the fabric panels can be slid along the length of the piece, to easily hide or expose certain of the objects being stored, even as they lend a sculptural element and contrast of colour and texture to the design.
