for ronan & erwan bouroullec‘s first collaboration with glas italia, the french brothers designed a series of furniture made entirely out of thermo-welded glass which incorporates elements of wood and felt. the ‘diapositive’ collection consists of an assembly system of simple glass panels, where the edges are protected with pieces of solid natural ash, which juxtapose an impression of fragility.

presented during salone del mobile 2014, the catalog of desks, benches and shelves are conceived in shades of colored laminated and glued glass: dark grey, light grey, pink, orange and transparent – both available in monochromic or polychromatic finishes.
