Rolex Unveils New Outstanding Watch Lineup Including Refreshed Models

Rolex has unveiled its latest creations, a new outstanding watch collection at the trade event Watches & Wonders in Geneva 2022. Almost seventy years after the release of the first GMT Master in 1955, now the manufacturer of luxury watches displays its new eye-catching model. GMT Master II comes with the crown on the left side of the case and a green and black bezel. Adjustments followed, moving the winding crown to the left side of the watch case and the date aperture to nine o’clock.

The cerachrom bezel insert incorporates green and black colors marking the identity of this watch. Moreover, the cutting-edge model allows reading the time in a second-time zone by utilizing the distinctive green, triangle-tipped 24-hour hand. Robust and clear, the exclusive photoluminescent display (chromalight) and the new crystal with anti-reflective coating deliver enhanced legibility.

The new Air-King accompanied the series of new models, with refreshing changes to its body. The model offers ideal balance and improved legibility, thanks to the addition of a ‘0’ before the ‘5’ on the minutes scale. The readability of the display is further enriched by a crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Meanwhile, the waterproof oyster case provides optimum protection for the internal clockwork.

Another model, Day-Date 40 comes with a fine aesthetic imbued in blue hues. The ice blue dial remains the distinctive marker of rolex watches in platinum. This version of the oyster perpetual Day-Date 40 consists of a blue seconds hand and faceted, deconstructed roman numerals and faceted hour markers in white gold. In similar bluish tones comes the redesigned Dayjust 31 combining three different finishes: Sunray, Matt, and Grained. The floral-motif dials splash with color, overflowing with fresh energy. The textural effects are further emphasized by 24 diamonds of varying sizes, which illuminate the center of each flower.
