The creative collaboration between Czech design duo Vrtiška & Žák and furniture brand RIM brings to life the Lambda chair. This multipurpose seating solution can handle any setting, be it commercial or residential – from conference rooms and cafés to home offices. Its distinctive name is inspired by its shape, reminiscent of the letter from the Greek alphabet. The form, manufactured with a special technique using plastic injection molding, allows for a stackable, lightweight solution which ensures ease of use while maintaining ergonomic comfort.

Lambda offers a range of customization options, including plastic shell colors in red, olive green, beige, light grey, blue-grey, and black, as well as fully upholstered models and a beech wood shell for those who prefer natural materials. With six different base designs – ranging from wire and four-legged metal to four-star aluminum and five-star bases on castors – the chair easily adapts to various interior settings and specific needs.

Lambda’s stackable design allows up to 8 chairs to be neatly piled, making it the perfect choice for spaces that require flexible layouts. For even greater convenience, the chair is compatible with transport trolleys that can accommodate up to 16 stacked chairs, optimizing movement and storage. Additionally, optional add-ons like foldable desks and row connectors further enhance functionality especially in conference and educational environments.
