Founded with Alessandro Mendini‘s creative direction, RAMUN creates ‘Doctor tested’ lights that are healthy for your eyes. The international brand was born out of the shared passion for light between the Italian design maestro and his grandson. The original lamp, Amuleto, has been expanded with multiple variations and now joined by the start of several design collaborations, firstly with Marcel Wanders.

Alessandro Mendini also conceived the 7STARS project – a small series of table and bedside decorative lamps named after the Big Dipper constellation. The seven designs will be created in collaboration with seven international designers, architect and artist.

The second of the 7STARS project, the RAMUN Bella is a whimsical lamp designed by Marcel Wanders in collaboration with Mendini. It was conceived as a good luck charm, softly emitting colored light and sound. The crystal cut design creates a special ambience that is destined for a bedroom, hotel desk and dining table. Bella was awarded The 2022 Best Light of the Year by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

RAMUN Bella has a precise dimming system suitable that is suitable for many uses. It has does not emit ultraviolet, infrared rays nor blue light, and it is certified flicker free. A Swiss music box master arranged classical music pieces, from Bach, Chopin and Puccini, to aid the light in creating a elegant atmosphere. It plays pleasant melodies to its users that can be also turned on and off on.
