Prostoria’s Contract Collection and fresh designs at Orgatec

Prostoria took center stage at Orgatec 2024 in Cologne, presenting an expansive showcase of its Contract furniture collection. Among the highlights is the Orgatec debut of the brand’s 2024 designs, Rei, Buffa, and Omnia, as well as the latest additions to the versatile Spectrum System collection. Known for integrating adaptability, modularity, and elegance, Prostoria’s collections offer a fresh perspective on functional yet aesthetically sophisticated solutions for hospitality and office settings. Visitors were able to explore the complete collection at the company’s ‘Problem Solver’s Mind, Maker’s Heart’ stand, with a more intimate selection available at the Design Post exhibition. Both presentations have been designed by Altherr Désile Park.

‘Problem Solver’s Mind, Maker’s Heart’

The theme of Prostoria’s Orgatec presentation, ‘Problem Solver’s Mind, Maker’s Heart,’ reflects the brand’s dual dedication to innovative problem-solving and meticulous craftsmanship. Altherr Désile Park’s design for the exhibit features color-themed ‘rooms’ that highlight each collection within distinct settings, from corporate offices and co-working spaces to hotel lobbies and outdoor lounges. This layout allows architects and interior designers to see firsthand how Prostoria’s pieces can be adapted to diverse environments, delivering both aesthetic appeal and functional versatility.

furniture debuts and expansions

Making its debut at Orgatec, the expanded Spectrum System collection epitomizes Prostoria’s approach to modular design. This sofa system is crafted for large, dynamic spaces, offering customizable configurations ideal for hospitality lounges and open office environments. The collection also includes the Spectrum High Back, designed to create privacy with acoustic benefits, catering to those seeking a quiet space for focused work or relaxation. Complementing the sofa modules, Spectrum Tables add a tailored elegance with three leg styles that harmonize effortlessly with the upholstered elements, enhancing the collection’s cohesive design language.

Orgatec 2024 is also the stage for the launch of Prostoria’s newest creations: Rei, Buffa, and Omnia. Each design brings a distinct character to the collection. Rei, designed by NumenForUse, reinterprets the classic lounge chair with a modernist aesthetic influenced by free jazz and functionalism, blending expressive design with practical comfort. Buffa, on the other hand, is a sculptural armchair and sofa with soft, inviting curves that create a warm, relaxed ambiance. Lastly, Omnia, designed by Neisako, is a sophisticated collection of sofas and armchairs that exudes a sense of glamour, lending an air of refined elegance to any space.

In addition to new releases, Prostoria’s exhibition further includes a selection of its iconic designs, such as the Polygon chair, Sabot modular sofa, Monk upholstered chairs, and the Jugo outdoor collection, each embodying the brand’s commitment to comfort, longevity, and sustainable design. These pieces are crafted with natural materials to create a sense of ‘tactile sensuality,’ bringing a touch of Mediterranean warmth balanced with northern rationality into modern spaces. Through this comprehensive display at Orgatec, Prostoria invites visitors to explore the depth of its Contract collection, showcasing its vision of furniture as not just functional objects, but as spaces that evoke comfort, harmony, and timeless elegance.
