los angeles embraces pride weekend with rainbow-colored pedestrian signals

a rainbow-colored transparency was mounted onto the pedestrian signals at prominent crosswalks in west hollywood, during los angeles’ 2017 pride weekend.

these rainbow pedestrian signals were seen by all attendees and were featured on the local news. the LA residents responsible for the installation described it as ‘a symbol of support for the LGBTQ community and as a statement that no matter what walk of life you choose, you should walk proud’.
