superstudio corso was one of the main events at prague designblok 2008. in the studios were a number of
main exhibitions. one of these showcases was designers’ catwalk, a presentation of 50 designer studios,
11 school studios and 3 galleries from the czech republic, slovakia and poland who had work on show
ranging from graphic design and illustration to furniture and industrial design.

as part of the school section, the students of the academy of arts, architecture and design (AAAD) in prague
had quite a presence at designblok. each program, from architecture to jewelry, presented the latest projects
by students. the school’s studio of ceramics and porcelain presented a selection of works which explored
the properties of porcelain and the possible ways in which it could be applied and combined with other materials.
