design student henry k. wein has designed a portable treehouse trailer that can be easily towed behind a bike to provide shelter anywhere. conceived as an adaptable camping solution that brings individuals closer to nature, the wooden structure takes shape as a compact one-man house on wheels that can be suspended on any available tree, offering an elevated sleeping spot to tired travelers.

thanks to its compact nature and its wheels, the ‘tree trailer’ can be transported effortlessly behind a bicycle or a motorcycle. when it’s time to set camp, it can be mounted on a sturdy tree branch, while the tree trunk acts as its supplementary support. as a result, the structure generates an elevated ‘treehouse’ providing campers with impressive views when they wake up in the morning. ‘the aim was to experience your surroundings differently,’ says henry k. wein. ‘being suspended from the tree, it gives the impression of lying on a branch.’

the camper is constructed from repurposed parts, with the cladding made out of a salvaged house blinds and the rest made from wood and a supporting metal beam. the portable treehouse also features opening windows on the sides and a fixed glass window on top.
