london based design studio pinch launches new furniture collection at maison & object in paris from january 22-26, 2016. a selection of key pieces including their ‘nim’ coffee table, ‘leta’ chaise, and ‘imo’ folding stool in ltd edition fir green, will be shown alongside other products spanning lighting, upholstery and cabinetry. the studio uses natural materials, combining a neutral palette of earthly colours and textures with occasional shots of strong colour.

pinch‘s feature piece ‘nim’ captures the calm and grounded qualities seen in the natural world expressed as a new man made object. the result is a sculptural table with an impressive solidity, floating on a raised foot and featuring a recessed top.

the ‘leta’ chaise is a sensual and sculptural piece that has been handmade using traditional upholstery techniques. it features turned walnut legs, a sprung seat, and back rest which allows you to lounge comfortably. the ‘imo’ folding stool adopts a more practical nature, allowing itself to be folded away easily or hung by accompanying pegs for wall mounting. the limited fir green edition is a bold choice which is also offered in a stained black ash, white oiled oak, and a combination of oak top and walnut versions.
