‘it is very difficult to design (kitchens) because you are in between many parameters which do not fit together. you want something which works perfectly well, with the right material qualities, but you do not want to live in a space ship—you are not in space. you want something, cosy, human—but you do not want to live in a county farm,’ comments philippe starck. he continues, ‘finally, perhaps I have found my solution by making everything as minimal with the least possible design, and, give space to the people who are going to use it to live in because it is mainly their reflection. and, on top of their own reflection, we also work on the idea of a little avocation of color,’
