peter marigold: ‘palindrome’ at design miami/basel 09 part of the designers of the futures exhibition

for design miami/ basel peter marigold is playing with the idea of symmetry and creating a three-dimensional version of the rorschach tests (inkblot psychological tests). based on animal trophies in country houses, ‘blobs’ of plaster are reflected in mirrors, encouraging viewers to draw their own conclusions about what they represent. peter marigold is one of the four winners of ‘the designers of the future award 2009’ at design miami/ basel.
