pedrali’s outdoor furniture collection 2022 sets perfect natural scenes

spring has sprung, and with it, the desire to spend more time in nature has grown stronger and stronger. with the changing of seasons, many look to outdoor spaces – whether extensions of the home through private terraces or gardens, dining or socializing at restaurants, cafes or hotels, or taking a short break from work in communal courtyards – as oases of comfort, tranquillity and socializing. pedrali curates a ‘green dream’ for outdoor living with furniture collections in 2022 that empowers and encourages interaction, versatile function and, overall, wellbeing. the products, designed by the likes of CMP design, patrick jouin and eugeni quitllet, give a fresh, elegant touch to surroundings. these designs are characterized by welcoming shapes, formed by recycled materials, and made to be lightweight, durable and easy to clean.

designboom selects five architectural projects from locations across the globe that showcase pedrali’s ‘green dream’ outdoors.

COLLINI VILLAS, MYKONOS in GREECE

in the grounds of the luxurious collini villas designed by airtec, located in fanari on the greek island of mykonos, the accommodation is a paradise for guests to enjoy sea views. its il segreto restaurant reinterprets mediterranean cuisine, and in a similar sense, so does its furniture. the pedrali tribeca armchairs, created by CMP design, is a modern twist on classic sixties patio chairs. they are made with a steel frame combined with the elasticity of vertically-woven plastic for the seat and backrest – all durable and easy to clean. the design is dressed in a pastel pink tone to match its namesake barstools and the inox tables.

COACH HOUSE IN HILLENVALE, AUSTRALIA

studio fabrikate refurbished an intimate stone cottage getaway, called coach house, nestled on a rugged hillside near hillenvale in south australia. the original charm of 19th century building’s sandstone structure is retained. there, its terrace is furnished with the soft, sinuous curves of the remind armchairs by eugeni quitllet, which references the shape of wooden chairs from the same era as the home. the design distinguishes an airy, lightweight appearance as the seat and rest are accented with transpiring punches. a special version is available made entirely from recycled materials.

PRIVATE RESIDENCE ON ISEO LAKE, ITALY

designed by LART architetti, the private dwelling on iseo lake maximizes its vantage point with spacious outdoor living. two pedrali products furnish these spaces: the panarea armchairs designed by CMP design, and the reva twist collection by patrick jouin. panarea is an outdoor seating collection that highlights the traditional italian craft of hand-weaving. its wide, curved backrest is woven in polypropylene cord to create an original, elegant geometrical pattern that wraps around the tubular steel frame. its airy construction delivers comfort whilst being easy to move. the reva twist comprises equally as elegant three-seater sofa and lounge armchair. both position its four tapered, die-cast aluminum legs at the extremities of the frame to emphasize width. the steel backrests and armrests are woven with a flat rope to give a natural appearance.
