patricia urquiola has developed a family of outdoor furniture that expresses textural and visual contrasts. drawing formal influences from architectural facades, the spanish designer has employed a mix of industrial and natural materials, hard and soft, solid and perforated surfaces to realize the sofa and table pieces.

produced by kettal, the basis of the ‘mesh’ collection is an expanded metal structure which while being strong, appears light and airy, in contrast to the plush cushions and solid wooden and marble surface tops.
