panerai submersible bronzo diving watch changes appearance over time

after debuting in 2011, the panerai ‘bronzo’ collection distinguished with its ability to choreograph heritage with innovation, rarity with toughness, and design with technology. each edition since has become a collectible timepiece. for the first time, however, the watch-maker has revealed the ‘submersible bronzo’ which will become part their core collection.

with a 47mm diameter case made from bronze, the special material of the panerai ‘submerisble bronzo’ creates a unique character. as it replays the passage of time, its material matures and reacts in an individual way. the design is paired with an iconic device for protecting the winding crown on its side. to complete the look, it is available with natural leather or military green rubber straps.

the special design of the diving watch houses its leading technology. it is water-resistant to a depth of 300m whilst its indications on the brown dial are visible even in complete darkness. to support this further, a small seconds hand at 9 o’clock runs at all times and in any situation whereas a unidirectional rotating bezel ensures dive duration can be calculated. the timepiece has a power reserve of three days thanks to its bidirectional oscillating weight, which can be viewed via a sapphire glass porthole on the back.
