atmosphere, functionality, comfort, simplicity, and attractiveness come together in the ‘jewelry display’ by polish designer pam marcisz. in her native country, the market for bespoke, artisan jewelry is rapidly growing. though due to its sudden boom, designers have yet to find the perfect way to exhibit their goods. through significant talks with exhibitors, smiths, and others marcisz conceptualized and produced — with the help of mr. stefan — the display.
dimensions are oriented towards car transportation between venues
using simple forms, the display frames and emphasizes goods — much more than a typical tabletop spread. it is composed of three large frames that are then sub-divided into smaller, movable units that take the dominant role in presenting products. all individual elements can be personalized by the seller, which come together in a cohesive whole.
wheels and integrated grips help sellers easily move the display
the ‘jewelry display’ is made with regional ash, renowned for its durability and pleasant wood grain. wheels and grips are integrated for convenient transportation, and dimensions are optimized for car transport. the project stresses the importance of quality presentation in terms of seller exposure and marketability. production is technologically uncomplicated with easily found natural materials, making it a valuable proposition to small-time craftsmen and women.
movable cases make the exhibition more dynamic, and can be folded vertically
glass can be fitted to each case, allowing for show prep and safe transportation of jewelry
cases can be deployed horizontally, vertically, or anywhere in between
included strings can be used for advertising materials such as pictures, posters, leaflets, etc.
feeling objects is extremely important in the sensory experience of potential customers
