industrial facility presents organically sculptural palmo hooks for mattiazzi

london-based studio industrial facility, has launched the palmo hook for italian company mattiazzi. officially launched during stockholm design week 2018, the item can be used for hanging a variety of items around the home.

italian for palm and similar to its namesake, the palmo hook has a large rounded volume. a sculptural accessory that does not immediately reveal its utility but when it does becomes an organic form that flatters your hand, the wall and anything that hangs on it.

the duo behind industrial facility, sam hecht and kim colin, say they considered a wooden hook for a while, highlighting the piece’s ability to massage shoulders when placed at an appropriate height – another reason for its befitting name. palmo hooks are available in a set of 3 colours – natural ash, dark-stained ash and green-satined ash.
